Tight Curls + Coily Hair

 

Coily hair -  type 4c is the tightest curl type with the smallest curl pattern. 

Due to the tight coil pattern, natural oils can have difficulty travelling down the hair shaft, causing dryness and breakage.  Gentle cleansing with water based products are recommended, along with deeper conditioning treatments.  Using the ONE Brush can help to maintain the integrity of your coily hair, to avoid damaging the natural shape.

The ONE Brush is water resistant and perfect to use in the can be shower while washing your hair.  Curly hair can be fragile, so use the soft setting to detangle vulnerable wet hair without pulling, to distribute conditioning treatments, while being gentle on your scalp, and then dial up your setting to define and enhance your curls.  

We always recommend sectioning your hair, and working up from the ends towards the root, gently detangling while working your way up.
